Meet the Maker

Midnight Muse Candles was founded by Natasha Washabaugh, a lifelong reader, artist, and storyteller who grew up craving a bit of everyday magic.

With a background in design, small-batch apothecary, and narrative branding, Natasha created a candle line that feels like a page turned under soft light — each scent a memory, a mood, or a moment waiting to be relit. Hand-poured in the quiet corners of Pennsylvania, every candle is finished with a collectible charm, designed to be worn, shared, or treasured like the stories that shape us.

She shares her home with her husband (a fellow book lover), their small children, and a house full of books. Overflowing bookshelves have become a way of life, and stories spill into every room like magic too stubborn to stay put. Midnight Muse was born from that same spirit: the desire to bring beauty, emotion, and storytelling into the everyday.
